These terms govern your use of TabBrain, a browser extension for AI-powered tab organization.
The Basics
- TabBrain is provided "as is" - we do our best, but can't guarantee it'll work perfectly every time
- Free tier is free forever - no tricks, no bait-and-switch
- Pro tier is a paid subscription with a 14-day refund policy
- Don't use TabBrain for anything illegal or harmful
Using TabBrain
Free Tier
- Available to anyone at no cost
- Uses your own local AI (Ollama, LM Studio, or compatible providers)
- Limited to 30 tabs per analysis
- No account required
Pro Tier
- £5 per month, billed monthly
- License key activates up to 5 devices
- 1,000 analyses per month
- Cancel anytime via LemonSqueezy
License Keys
When you purchase Pro:
- You receive a license key via email
- Enter it in the extension settings to activate
- One key works across up to 5 devices
- Keys are non-transferable
- Sharing keys publicly may result in revocation
Refunds
We offer 14-day no-questions-asked refunds on Pro subscriptions.
To request a refund:
- Email support@tabbrain.app with your order number
- We'll process the refund within 5 business days
- Your license will be revoked
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify TabBrain
- Use TabBrain for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent license restrictions
- Share, sell, or distribute license keys
- Use automated systems to abuse the service
Intellectual Property
TabBrain and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TabBrain and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TabBrain is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI suggestions will always be accurate or useful
- The extension will be compatible with all systems
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TabBrain shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of TabBrain.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Change pricing (existing subscriptions honored at their rate)
- Update these terms
Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. You can stop using TabBrain at any time by uninstalling the extension.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
